I have, without a doubt, lived on planets that look similar—yet different—to Earth. I have books of animals that I’ve drawn that have little resemblance to Earth animals, and I believe they came from a place just like the mushrooms in Neverland.
The name Neverland is of course used in many places, with both positive and negative connotations, yet my version speaks more of the lack of Time as a limitation in other realities. Time is not a constant, and everything we’re experiencing is really happening simultaneously—and in Neverland, mushrooms can grow to humongous proportions overnight and it’s perfectly OK.
This pen and ink, and watercolor drawing measures 3.5″ x 3.5″, and is inserted into a white 8″ x 8″ archival mat with backing. Ready to put in your own 8″ x 8″ frame, which is a standard size available at any frame store or craft shop.
I have been drawing since I was 4, and although I am trained in many mediums, I prefer pen and ink so that I can include great detail in my art. I have a fascination with arches, and the smaller the art, the more challenging it is for me.
